How Partner Payouts Work on Partnac

Partnac ensures secure and transparent financial interactions between brands and partners using a built-in escrow system. When a brand initiates a campaign or accepts an application, funds are securely held to guarantee payment upon successful delivery.

Escrow Statuses & Lock Periods

  1. Pending: The payment process has started but the funds have not yet cleared via Stripe.
  2. Held (Fixed-Price): For fixed-price collaborations, funds are held in escrow while the partner works on the agreed-upon deliverables. Once deliverables are submitted, the brand can manually approve them to make the funds available. If no action is taken, the system automatically approves the payout after 5 days, moving it to the partner's available balance.
  3. Locked (Performance-Based): For performance campaigns (like affiliate sales or conversions), earned commissions are automatically locked for a verification period (default is 20 days). This protects the brand against returns or fraudulent conversions. After the lock period expires, the funds automatically transition to the 'Available' state.
  4. Available: Funds that have cleared all lock periods or escrow holds. After sitting in the 'Available' state for 5 days, these funds are automatically transferred directly to the partner's linked Stripe bank account.
Partnac uses Stripe Connect to route payouts to partners automatically. Make sure your partner account has an active Stripe Connect account linked to avoid delays in receiving your funds.
